Cast all your anxiety on Him,
because He cares for you.

1 Peter 5: 7-9..Cast all your anxiety on Him, because He cares for you. Be sober-minded and alert. Your adversary the devil prowls around like a roaring lion, seeking someone to devour. 9Resist him, standing firm in your faith….

I want to encourage you today. This has been so heavy on my heart for a long time…and it has brought me to my knees in prayer so often.

I want to remind you of what it says in Ephesians 6:12 where it tells us:  For we are not fighting against flesh-and-blood enemies, but against evil rulers and authorities of the unseen world, against mighty powers in this dark world, and against evil spirits in the heavenly places.”

The Father is so good and loving to show us the strategies of the enemy so that we are not caught off guard, or blind-sided by his attacks. He wants to continually make us aware that the battle is SPIRITUAL and the enemy’s greatest desire is to ‘Kill, steal and destroy” your identity in Christ and the love of Jesus in you and through you.
The very love that shows the heart of Jesus to a hurting world.
The very love that will break through darkness and set peoples heart free.
The love that will display the heart of the Father in truth.

The enemy HATES love.

Because “Your love for one another will prove to the world that you are my disciples” John 13:35. He sits back and laughs as we become consumed with our anger, our offendedness and our bitter judgments against one another knowing that our love daily is becoming “cold”.   We feel stronger and more empowered in our flesh, when in reality we are losing ourselves as we fight one another. We are losing our positions of strength and authority In the kingdom of God and saying YES to the agenda of darkness.

It can be subtle and slow, but it desires to consume us completely..until we feel completely justified in our anger and the shackles around our life are becoming more impenetrable.

I remember a little discussion I had one day with my sweet Esther, when we were talking about wearing glasses.

We laughed as we each took our glasses off and were completely disgusted at how dirty they had actually become. We wondered how long they had been so dirty and growing more filthy with each passing day, and yet we continued to wear them. Unaware of how compromised our sight had become. I took both glasses and cleaned them thoroughly. It felt so much better to put on clear glasses and it motivated both of us to take a good look every day and keep them clean!!

Today, lets objectively take off our glasses.

Lets ask the Father to gently show us areas where we have been compromised in our sight….and felt entitled to be filled with anger, or offense. Let us take those things to Him in repentance and let them find their end in the cross of Jesus. He NEVER wants us to feel guilt or shame about those things, but wants to set our hearts and minds free to again know the power of His love.  You are loved. There is nothing that I pray for more, than for people to know the love of Jesus in a way that sets their hearts free and then to display that love everywhere they go. Bringing the beauty of God’s kingdom through their lives. But we must stand against the world system of hate, malice and offense. We must stand in truth.

Matthew 24:10-13    “At that time many will turn away from the faith and will betray and hate each other…..12Because of the increase of wickedness, the love of most will grow cold, 13but the one who stands firm to the end will be saved.”

In these words, Jesus was foretelling the very things we are witnessing today in our world.
He does that so we can be ready and armed with the truth of His word and His love.

The love in my heart moves so deeply for each of you to know the gentle love of a Father that desires to set hearts free and to bring hope to each home and relationship. I want to remind you of the agenda at work today in full forces, the agenda of darkness that desires to bring betrayal and hatred to relationships and pull us farther and farther away from the kingdom of God and our true identities.   Your enemy is not your your family member, it is not those around you that disagree with your opinions, it is not a friend that has rejected you…the enemy is the one who is prowling around looking for the vulnerable to kill and steal and destroy.

Jesus paid the price for your freedom.

We fight the enemy, not for victory but FROM A PLACE OF VICTORY, already purchased for us. Remember who you are in Him!!

I am praying for you today.

I love you deeply and desire for you to know the victory and power of God’s kingdom at work in and through you. But to have that victory, we must say YES to the ways of the Kingdom. The ways of love! And say NO to the agenda of the enemy. This is who you are!

Guard your heart, guard your identity, guard your love.  (Proverbs 4:32   Guard your heart above all else, for it determines the course of your life.)  He is getting ready to use your love and your life to transform the world around you.  Lets stand together and turn the world upside down by love ..the love defined by the model of Jesus himself.

LoveWorks and Never Fails.
